Phalaenopsis Gallery

Like most people, the first orchid I ever grew was a Phal. Phals are probably the easier orchid to grow and the most rewarding because they are fairly easy to re bloom. Although they only bloom once a year, the plants can stay in bloom for several months.

I first started growing these about 20 years ago, long before cloning made them easily available ever where. Once they became “throw away houseplants”, I sort of lost interest. This is really to bad as they really are stunning plants…I only a have a few special ones now. However, most of the ones here are the plants featured here are long gone. In cases where I forgot the name, they are labeled “NOID” for “no I.D.”
