Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park is an amazing place. As opposed to some of California’s more well known parks (ie crowded) , JT seems to always be peaceful and serene. Located a couple hours east of Los Angeles, two distinct desert ecosystems, the Mojave and the Colorado, come together here. Large expanses of nothing are populated with huge granite boulders and the name sake tree.

JT is one of my favorite places because of its subtle beauty and (mostly) its solitude. I consider its beauty difficult to capture on film. I hope I did it justice here
