Yosemite National Park

During the right time of the year, there is no more beautiful place on earth than Yosemite National Park. Timing is key… Yosemite Valley is a very small percentage of the whole park, but 90% of the iconic views. Winter and spring are great time to visit here. The crowds are reduced and the falls are running. In summer, bypass the valley and head to the back country. These photos are arranged by season.

It is easier to feel than to realize, or in any way explain, Yosemite grandeur. The magnitudes of the rocks and trees and streams are so delicately harmonized, they are mostly hidden.
